Since 2006, over 1500 professionals have experienced training in "English for Law & International Transactions" (EFLIT). Launched by the University of Parma. EFLIT is now active across Italy, thanks to an innovative format that combines linguistic and legal skills.

EFLIT training is designed for lawyers, notaries, judges and prosecutors, accountants and counsels of corporations who wish to improve their ability to engage in international transactions. Courses are also open to graduates in law, economics and political sciences.

EFLIT offers an innovative teaching methodology ("learn by doing") that allows participants to develop valuable skills for professional contacts with foreign clients and colleagues. Course materials include authentic  professional  documents and deeds (such as formal letters, contracts, articles of incorporation, complaints, tax return forms, balance sheets, etc...),

EFLIT training is ideal for those who wish to sit the ILEC (International Legal English Certificate) and BEC (Business English Certificate) examination

EFLIT teachers are native-speaker linguists, academic and practising lawyers and professionals with international experience. EFLIT is held in partnership with some major Italian law firms and several local partners

The EFLIT staff is at disposal for certified translations of legal documents, pleadings and professional correspondence.
